We were asked to refurbish this front room of a property in Broadstairs, Kent. It was a complete refurbishment job and we restored back to how it should have been with all the walls and ceiling re-plastered with new coving, skirtings, daydo rails and picture rails.
If you look to the right along the fireplace we have also built a concrete cabinet top at knee level and there are storage cabinets along that wall and the fire has been picked up to go on top of it a couple of feet off the floor.
That was an artistic detail, the concrete slab that foes all the way along, we put some black dye in the concrete slab and then rubbed it back so that it looks like a lump of dark stone.
The customer was very happy with what we had achieved at their property.
